Anne
Nowell
Center director and triple certified instructor
Anne Nowell has taught various styles of yoga in the
US and abroad for more than 20 years, and is a Kriyaban
in the tradition of Paramahansa Yogananda. She is
also a certified personal trainer, dedicated to the
principles of fitness and yoga philosophy. Anne has
studied directly with K. Pattabhi Jois, TKV Desikachar,
and BKS Iyengar as well as numerous senior American
and European teachers. Her classes blend the techniques
of the Krishnamacharya lineage to make the Astanga
Yoga method available to all interested students.

Madison
Omholt
Madison
Omholt began practicing yoga in 1986 and teaching
in 1991. Although primarily an Astanga yoga practitioner,
he was also influenced by Iyengar yoga, Viniyoga,
and various other yoga traditions, as well as formerly
studying martial arts, massage therapy, and bioenergetics.
In 1987, Madison started a daily meditation practice
under the tutelage of Dr. Ushabudh Arya and later
he immersed himself in the teachings of Paramahansa
Yogananda. He holds an MA. in Marital and Family Therapy
and a Ph.D. in Holistic Relationship Communication. |

Jason Stein
An avid skateboarder in the 90`s, Jason Stein first came to Ashtanga Yoga as a way to facilitate his sport. He was introduced to the practice by Dominic Corigliano in 1998. In 2003, he completed Tim Miller's Teacher Training Intensive, and has studied with Tim daily when in Encinitas, CA. Jason has travelled twice to Mysore, India, to practice with Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson R. Sharath; on his most recent 6 month trip having completed the Intermediate Ashtanga Series. |

Tracey Dalton
Tracey Dalton was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga in 1997 by Senior Certified Instructor, Dominic Corigliano. As a sports enthusiast with an emphasis in running and snowboarding, Tracey has used the techniques of yoga to rehabilitate several injuries. Since 2001 she has practiced at the Astanga Yoga Center Uptown in San Diego and in 2006 completed a month long training with the Sivananda Vendanta Centers. Tracey received her RYT (Register Yoga Teacher Certification) in 2006. She has recently completed a training with Master Yoga instructors Matthew Sweeney and Mark Whitwell. Believing in the importance of adhering to the tradition of the Astanga practice, Tracey uses a non-dogmatic approach adapted for individuals in her classes. |
